The 5 people who inspire me the most.

1. Audrey Hepburn: Hands down she takes the top of the list. She knew what worked for her, always classic but never safe, and I'm not just jealous of her impeccable style; she was a great human being and it showed in how she carried herself.

2. Denise Huxtable (Lisa Bonet): No one's personal style beats hers. She mixes so many styles and trends and makes them her own. She's the type of person you can't take your eyes off of.

3. Bob Dylan: He showed me that you can never go wrong with some basics and patterns placed the right way, that your hair is an accessory too, and that no matter how much your life changes, your style will always reflect where you came from.

4. Carey Mulligan: I feel she's a modern day Audrey. She's classic with some edge. She dresses the exact way that I feel like dressing every morning. Style sisters, for sure.

5. Charlotte Kemp Muhl and Sean Lennon: I hate to make them a pair since they both have great individual style, but I just adore them so much together. Through their style they have taught me that it's okay to wear an Indian Headdress outside of the house if I want to. That fearlessness when it comes to fashion is something I definitely look up to.

Spring Cleaning.

I cannot tell you how hard it is to clean out my wardrobe. Every time I do so (we're talking trash bags upon trash bags) somehow more clothes find their way to me. I am certainly not complaining but how many clothes can a girl have and properly love?

You're right, boundless amounts. Anyways, with Spring here and the threat of warm weather on the horizon, there are countless blog posts that make it oh so hard to keep my wardrobe to a minimum. SO INSPIRED. Here are a few...

Happy, Happy, Happy Spring everyone!

Vacation.

I will warn you, This post will be an overload of pictures. I have a lot of catching up to do. This week has been wonderful.
First up, a stop in Cincinnati, Ohio for my friend Dom's birthday. He threw a Mad Men-themed party, and we take themes SERIOUSLY.

photo cred.- Heather Silverman and Kelsey Gray

Let's just say, I could never work at Sterling, Cooper, Draper, Pryce...This girl cannot handle the constant cocktails. Next to Lousiville, to see my family. We thrifted like mad men (see what I did there?) and enjoyed some of the hospitality that Kentucky has to offer.

Picked up this beautiful jumpsuit at Pink Door Boutique in the Historic Highlands in Louisville. I highly recommend visiting if you're in the area. It's amazing in there.

Playing dress-up in my mom's closet. This dress is A-MAY-ZING. I searched for an excuse to steal it, but alas, I would have NOTHING to wear it to. But when I took these pictures, I promised my broken little heart that one day I would find a reason. It was a touching moment.

Anyways, back to real life. Hope everyone is enjoying the approaching Spring weather.

Boobie-tassels, Fire-breathing, and Sword-swallowing, oh my!

My friends and I attended the Pretty Things Peepshow recently. It's a legitimate Burlesque show and oh, so much fun. I apologize for the quality of the pictures; Alcohol+lots of moving+iPhone= these are pretty darn good pics, considering.
